BOO!

Well, Halloween is upon us and its been almost a year since I've updated this blog. Pretty lame, yes, but I don't think anyone really reads my ridiculous rantings anyway so I just do it for my buddy Amanda, I think she's the only one that cares hahaha. Well as most of you know, we have a SURPRISE pregnancy, baby is due May 1st and is doing well so far. My hopes and prayers are that it continues to go so well....and that its a girl ;) No, really, my biggest hope is to have a healthy baby that does NOT end up in the NICU this time around...it would be really nice to be able to bring baby home when he/she is supposed to...although I really shouldn't even say that, we are blessed as it is to even be having a 3rd there is so much heartache in this world as it is for people struggling to have babies and I will just never understand it. So many close friends and family of mine have been through this and it just breaks my heart. So if you hear me complaining about morning sickness lasting all day or being tired, PLEASE smack me, I'll deserve it. So, I titled my blog "BOO" because its scary I'm back...as I said before its been almost a year since I've been on here, lame I know, life just seems to get so busy and away from us. I love checking up on my friends on here though, thats one reason to keep it up for sure :) You all have such cute blogs and mine is so boring! Some fun Halloween gossip would be, Derick's work told them to all dress up like zombies, so Derick got a Rick Grimes costume (the sheriff on The Walking dead) and he looks so much like him its awesome. I've never seen him put so much work into a costume and it really paid off...he is so creative whenver he sets his mind to something. I'm just being a boring old witch (with a costume, not going as myself) since I do the Witches Night Out with my mother and sister in law each year. This year my costume is way cute and yes, I copied the EXACT one my mother in law wore last year, but it was the cutest one they had at the store and it fit me, what more can I ask for? She is going as Glinda the Good Witch and is going to look so awesome, there is no way I can even top that so I'm not even going to try, we are just going to go and have a good time. Aiden is going as fisherman (such a cute costume!) and Liam is going to be mario, I will post pics on here as soon as I can. Well I hope everyone has a great Halloween! Enjoy!!!

A December Update

Well I decided its about time I update this, I just update the background usually, but never let people know what has been going on in the lives of the McLam's..so here we go!

Liam has enjoyed being a big brother. He is so helpful and sweet with Aiden. Aiden is growing up so fast! Too fast! He is already five months old, and I just have to stop and absorb it all, I can't believe he's getting so big so fast.

The Christmas season is upon us and I am very excited. I already got most of the boys shopping done, and once again Liam will get way more than he needs and Aiden will get more than he knows what to do with, but thats how it goes right? ;) Derick bought me a new Dell laptop, which has been awesome since our home computer needs some major help, the laptop is so nice and fast and pretty :) I use it while at work, yes, I got a new job from home and I love it. I work four hours five days a week which feels like hardly any work at all. I am in a reward program for a very popular company that I'm not allowed to disclose...Let's just say the customers I deal with spend a lot of money and are very nice to me, so I enjoy my job greatly.

Aiden is babbling all of the time now, some times we really do hear him say "mama" and "dada" I think we before we know it he will be crawling around, going to have to babyproof the entire house soon! And get rid of a bunch of Liam's crap to make room for new Christmas things. The only thing is I'll have to wait til he's at school to do so because he does not let me get rid of anything, seriously. There will be toys he has never played with, and he thinks he needs to keep them around, he even plays with Aiden's toys and thinks they are his too, this Christmas should be quite interesting.

Aiden is HERE!

So for those of you who don't know yet, my baby boy has arrived. He had kind of a rough start, and was in the NICU for the first 5 days of his life, but now he is healthy and home with us and I am SO RELIEVED! He is such a good little baby. He weighed 7lbs. and 7oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is now a month and two weeks old and weighs 10lbs. 12oz.! He is such a good little eater. He has started smiling, and whenever he hears big brother Liam's voice he has to find him. Liam is an amazing big brother and such a big help to me (he'll fetch diapers and whatever else I ask for!) Speaking of Liam, he is starting kindergarten the 29th and I can't believe it. I feel like time has gone by so quickly and wish it would just slow down. He is somewhat excited but unsure about what school is going to be like. I think he'll enjoy it and am happy he got into the charter school we put him in for. I think it will benefit him quite a bit. Well, baby Aiden is ready to eat so thats it for now, I will post more later and once Liam starts school I'm sure I'll have a blog for that :) I want to leave on one note here that I thought was pretty cute....just a conversation Liam and I had the other day.

Liam: (looking at Aiden smiling in his swing) Mom, he's smiling! He must see a fairy.
Me: Fairy? Do you mean Angel?
Liam: Oh yeah, angel, sorry I get them confused....
